Why do people persist on pursueing enlightenment and knowledge, when it actually makes morality obsolete? For the same reason we celebrate Christmas or put out socks so leprechauns could bring gifts to our children etc. We used to believe or live in a realm, there certain attributes filled our lives; now they do not; but we still feel the need to keep doing that, because it feels nice and it gets the job done; even if the meaning is different now. How many people actually celebrate Christmas because of Jesus Christ, then His birthday could as well have been on midsommer etc. The question is relevancy and franchise. While people don't see the world the same way, the same priests who used to be like scholars in a Univercity, are more like vendors in McDonalds or in a theme park or reservation; a derelict site made into a museum.
You are basically roleplaying with the guide, how the mayans could have possibly done human sacrifice, but you're not really there and in it. You are somewhere else. In a different timeline; in a tifferent spiritual frame and space, meaning something entirely else, and this enactment will be out of mind as soon as the sceduled time is past and everybody goes back into their everyday lives! Nietzsche once stated in "Thus spoke Zarathustra" that "God is dead!" what does that mean? How do you even say that as a sentient being, that something, what created everything, and holds up the fabric of the Univerce; reality and meaning itself is dead? Such an immortal being cannot die!! But He can become Santa Clause or the Leprechaun and be reasoned away, until He takes no part in your life anymore...
In what way is this God more real, than Santa Clause or the Leprechauns; then He has given through His Son this Sermon of the Mount? -- Yet most Christians don't live according to that, and nothing ever happens. Nobody bats an eye, business as usual, Halleluyah! How does it make a difference, if we are talking about a 40k character; a LOTR character; a GOTh character or Jesus Christ, if that talk only remains behind the churches walls and inside Sunday worship, but then life goes on, in accordance how we now live, not how an arcane moral code decrees? Could you then really say, that you actually cared, if that God was Real; alive and well? People don't live by the Bible, in the Church -- they sniff the Bible and get high! They get psyched like the characters of Bakugan, trying to find their perfect atunement, but the moment they get to the parking lot they cuss swear and bitch about who so ever scratched their Hyundai while driving on a bike! Complain about the politics and how they could have done it better, and ask the hobo to go find a job, then he asks for a change from you, who could have easily been a warvet, or a people whos house burnt down and who is awaiting until some official finds him on the excel spread sheat in the system, so he could receive his due and get his ID back which also burnt in the house!! He could be offering a cheap plastic cup and send with it a tired client to fetch some tapwater, but never give his coffee, because that person coming for counceling stank and had the wrong clothes or came from a shelter etc. We don't have time for God, because God happened 2000 years ago or even farther away, if talking about Judaism and about Yahveh! Who fucking cares? Meanwhile the Doplhins are fighting against the Patriots; some Pokemon need to be caught;something happened in Ukraine or on Nordstream and you had a say about that; there is some loot to be grinded in Diablo etc... Isn't that just white noise, then people cannot see it in your own life. I'm not talking about the snitching of "Whiteraven, hey, my brother played on his Iphone, while I was in the choir singing!" I'm talking about You! Are you treating God as a Real Entity, who actually takes part in Your Life! or Is He just a character in a popular social experiment i. e. game; narrative? Are you really having a conversation with Him? Are You coming with Your problems to that God, to find out, what to do, and then You actually do it? If the answer to that is no, then why do You fucking care if some atheist or other calls God dead or your prayers don't get answered, you dealt it, now learn to live with it!! Halleluyah! But the Righteous will draw more faith and do more Justice while the wicked shall dwell deeper into the depths of Iniquity!
