I
Dreaming of a better tomorrow, where idiots don't rue;
governments, corporations don't play nanny, gerrymander.
“We just want to stop indoctrination!” they tell you;
while they take away your voice and colour crude.
Stamping in the same talking points about safety, slander –
throwing away freedom, bordering too much with Yonder!
Changing the goalposts and former moral stands imbued.
II
Fences dictating, where you can roam and be goaded to;
tribal in every sentence policed, while chanting Free Will.
Why do those, who claim to be for your interest, be it Good
or Evil, Left or Right; Atheist-Religious, Scientist or Brute!
Just don't challenge authority and heel to our sensibility, Bill –
you could be whatever you want, just not toxic running dreadmills.
People don't recognize patterns, just look through glasses blue!
III
Another brick in the wall, telling me, where to think;
raindrops falling in my head, hoping where be tomorrow.
Don't teach the children about Right or Wrong, blink
your burdens to us and let somebody else do them pink.
God forbid, we got something from the past, not borrowed
from misandry, intolerance towards discipline, always in sorrow:
Why should children grow up independent, let it sink.
