Poverty

The reason, why poverty will always be a thing, is this. Try to imagine a world, there everybody has just enough finances to relax and choose which ever job they want. Sounds like a dream come true? More like a nightmare! The first thing what will happen, is that the streets will overfill with waste (thrown-away newspapers and other such garbage). The sewage wont work propperly and any Hotline or help system wont work. Why, you ask me. Because all of these rely on cheap labor. What else runs on cheap labor - restaurants; gas stations; check-ins; super markets; security of banks and other companies and organisations. If people have the liberty of choice, they will never be hair-dressers; dish washers; mail-men etc. because these jobs require a lot of strong nerves and resolve to take all the rough handling from the boss and customers, that most people wont take it. For instance, when I was a mail-man, then on my line, the drop out before me, was after every 2 weeks, the shortest being 2 days. Because the street had a unique way, how the houses there numbered. The most there straight forward even numbers on the one side uneven on the other side of the street - then there where inside alley's gardens with 5-8+ houses numbered with a,b,c sometimes even sometimes uneven - and you had to know them all by heart or you wouldn't find em in time to finish your run in time as promised. Then was the wanted/unwanted commercial runs you had to do, because of corresponding 50% of your pay. We litterally got paid for distributing trash-mail what only old geezers want, who frequently go discount hunting, but everybody else hates, because of the raise on the garbage bill. So it wasn't a very rewarding job. Plus you got out of the blue fake complaints when a neighbour stole someones newspaper, and you fealt the heat, because the client thought, it was you; or just because the person being the hidden control guy to check that you really distributed everything correctly, outright hated you. Why would people do those demanding and vexing jobs, if they had a choice? At the same time leisure would become more demanded and thus more expencive, meaning more people wont be able to afford it, creating a new type of poverty. The "I have money, but not enough to buy anything" type hyperinflatious states experience - meaning you need even more supportive staff and cravings for compensation. It means the black market will take over and start distributing everything officially can't be. Somewhere some people will accept their fate and start working dirt cheap on supportive jobs *and* those who still go along with the "I got money" ideal and "I don't need to" will suffer, because the demand for them shortens even more. For they don't do anything supportive for the community!!  To emphasis that with MTG trading card games a good deck consists of land cards; creature cards; spells artefacts and enchantments. Everybody like their Nicol Bolas, but what you gonna do with one in your hand, if you got no land in play? It costs 1UBR (4 mana) to cast it and another 4UBR (7 mana) to transform into its planeswalker state - without lands it wont matter. When you have the right amount of lands; creatures spells etc. then you can do something with it - and our society works the same way...  Removing powerty is like removing lands from MTG, only things still have a manacost. What you gonna do? Use spells as arteficial mana source outside of the current ruleset? Who's gonna pay for it all?? The things normally, what get the least attention, are the most important. Try imagining your life without a pencil - a fucking easy to make, requiring cheap labor mostly from china or some other place there rights and democracy isn't very popular, pencil. Or without a shopping bag, what we try to get rid off - but imagine tomorrow there there no plastic bags nor other items made of plastic! How would your every day life look like? Are you able to afford a ceramic jar, when the demand skyrockets? This is not an affront to lure people into hating green thinking or concious politics - it's just a crticize, that just like with the perpetual machine, there are limitations how far our wellfare system or other guidelines can go to. Refugee's wont be saved by simply getting into a better state, just like you cannot make a car run better or at all if you randomly inject cogs into its wheels and engine - they have to be integrated meaningfully into the system (assimilation) in order to have a positive effect. As long there is a world, there will always be powerty; pain and suffering; wars and strife; have's and have not's. How we deal with it, shows which type of person we are, the give-ups or stand-ups! Which one are you and how did you change the world for the better today instead of complaining that it didn't get done by others?
