SHINRIN-YOKU - Japanese Samurai Ambience
I
You're overthinking, because you're not sure;
of Yourself, Your Deeds, Your Journey.
By saying yet another word, expression slur;
playing cards, raising buttons, mouth full of fur!
Glorious anthems are not born through attorney's;
zealots; preachers and deacons, but through learning
in pain and steadfast. Then you stand your ground firm!
II
Don't think nor worry, what the future holds dear;
find shelter in discipline and you shall not want.
Ego thinks, the Emu pecks a bogie, pear fears;
while it falls to the pond, doing plump sounds, snares.
Those, who have trained their mind, shant –
the fog of war step aside, the enemy falter, faint.
A Warrior gazes like a demon, Red Oni in gears!
III
Don't close your eyes, while the flutes and koto play;
then the geisha are dancing and people cheer.
Talk is cheep, praise worthless, offered to sculpt clay –
know yourself, and keep the katana ready, pray!
Whether you come or go, a disciplined mind dost heel;
your motion changes the Seasons and makes deer
jump, the dragon dance the sky, Kitsune-Hime drop the veil!
