Monster. Imagine Dragons. Legend of Korra.
I
Don't be afraid of the Dark, when your divine spark;
leads to despair, through turmoil revolts on your guard.
When your virtues and urges fight, like sharks;
two grown-up wolves, one white other black stark.
You're valued, don't give up on your broken shards –
many lumps of coal turn to diamonds to award,
the patient rebuilder of character from duckling to Lark.
II
Embrace yourself, accept the pain and sorrow;
nobody got perfect through candy and nuts.
Work your routines, shoulder your burrow;
it soon be a mountain to Excelsior Manor.
Don't listen to the iffers, do-nots and buts –
they don't live themselves, want to hinder cats;
who walk alone, create their own Valour!!
III
Be the Monster, nobody dared to perceive;
the relentless drive, making new Apogees.
The Sinner and Saint, the vile deceit –
who puts faith to a dime, to challenge fates.
You don't need a number nor be called Reese;
don't ask for mercy nor redemption pleads.
Be the Superman, nobody dared to dream!
