In order to understand this Essay, please read Stand Up! First. I wrote that 5 Stansa Poem for a reason, choosing 5 male characters from Naruto Shippuden, I knew, who would never pass the muster in Today's Church, which is filled up with the Brothers Boanerges; Peters and Sauls corrupted forms, before they understood the Cross. Those will never overlook the corruption of those 5 to see with the eyes of Barnabas, what they could be in Christ! Halleluyah!
I could have chosen some female characters too, but that would have made it to bloated, because peoples attention span in digesting such uplifting exhortations is limited. But the Church lacks mighty men in Christ, who would dry the tears of the Harlot and console Hanna in front of the altar, not more girlpower emancipated Karens, who like Cows of Bashan, like to roll their eyes; drink the wine of Jezebel and snub in their VIP lounge, looking down on the church; making god damn sure, no Sansa nor Arya Stark gets to molest the will of Cercei Lannister, while she's fucking around with her brother Jaime and bicker with Tyrion, who is more witty and more loved by dad! Women have already plenty of champions, like Korra; Katara; Jinx etc. they don't need more uplifting. Its the men, who need counceling, lest they be smothered to cucks, like Will Smith, who due to his career, can't even condemn his adulterous wife,. While receiving his awards!! But that's neither here nor there. I wanted to talk about those 5 I chose, why they are despised in today's church, and why Jesus would love them!
Kabuto
Kabuto was a young promising shinobi, who grew up in a foster care, having healing properties, which made him really valuable in Narutoverse, because that skill was rare, and mostly shinobi died, due to awesome skill overload. It highlights the founding of the Red Cross, which made battlefields almost humane and bearable. His caretaker was also a shinobi, working for the Root, who was sent to a mission, threattened with his “son” she cared about Kabuto, who was sent out as a spy. When they had served enough, they there pitted together, and Kabuto ended up killing his own “Mother”. After that he went from battlefield to battlefield, infiltrating factions, to serve a dubious purpose, there his own agency was null. Until he found Orochimaru, that evil genius, who's charisma made him fall in love as a disciple and agent, where he for the first time, could believe in something greater than himself.
Naruto encountered him at the chunin exams, playing that geek, who flunked the exam 6 times, so he could be close enouogh to Sasuke Uchiha, the next target of Orochimaru. And to stage a coup against the leaf village. Later he became one with the dead reans of Oprochimaru, who was killed by Sasuke himself, hwo had become his Masters chosen disciple, to uphold the legacy. Bruce Lee would not have agreed to such sentiment, of loosing your path and loving your master too much, because you should find your own path, after studying Martial arts. Not become the copy of your Master. What if he's wrong somewhere! But I digress, After he was brought back from his madness through a counter jutsu, specially designed to punish strong Uchiha, he could be that Kabuto in the orphanage again. You got to love the authors character development, what made a villain, and gave him real reasons, why he would be so fucked up and fight the good guys, not the usual lets be evil. That's how evil scientists are born. And that is all the Christian church these days shall see. A Mad scientist or a potential rogue agent, who's loyalties can't be trusted. Although one of the Disciples of Jesus was a zealoth and another betrayed him, being a grifter. They would never see the healer or Keanu Reeves in him, who could play different roles to the youths of today. Because then you think about it, Kabuto gave wholesome and constructive advice then being together with Naruto, pretending to be a student attending the exam.
Sasori
Sasori lost his parents to white fang, the father of Kakashi Hatake, who later killed himself, for valuing his team mates life over the mission. Being raised by his villages most renouned pupeteer, who was his grandmother, he quickly found out, that puppets make poor company, because , then you're happy, your strings detach and they fall dead to the ground. You can only move them, then you're cold and calculating. That's again the genius of the author on creating the image of a Genius prodigee, who is constantly bored in his village, because nobody can match his skill in puppeteering. He even murders his own friend and makes him a puppet, because of him being a brash foolish melee fighter, who charges into the action, like Naruto with little self regard. Naruto at least had the kyubi sealed into him with healing properties. So Sasori poisoned his friedn dead with that arteficial arm he created, having a hidden short sword inside, to increase his prowess in puppeteering, and also so he wouldn't get hurt, then he would loose another loved one, like a friend.
Later he joins the Akatsuki, who could respect his talents more and ends up killed, when Naruto and his team come to rescue Gaara, the jinjuriki of the Sand, who was captured and killed due to the demon inside. After that he became a puppet himself, resurrected by Kabuto and a farce of his past grandeur. The church would never want such a game master amongst them, who could see through their petty plays. They would absolutely be mortified of him running away with the circus or the choir. Even though he has strong leadership skills and can understand the pitfaslls of misplaces allegiances. Precisely because he was such a menacing foe in Narutoverse, he would serve Jesus well! A Walking Orchestra in one person, who cold make a fine bishop or deacon like St Steven.
Sai
Sais problem is, that hes a Zealoth, who was tasked with the assassination of Sasuke Uchiha by Root, whos agent he was. As such, he had no true name or face, having to fight his sick brother, who sacked his life, so little brother could move on. A Technique to gain fierce soldiers. For instance the Demon of the Mist was raised the same, and loved killing so much, that he killed his entire class to be promoted. He was constantly vigilant, like the woke teach now, until she met Naruto and genuinely tried to understand what love and friendship meant – totally foreign concepts in his station. He also was the child, who saw the emperor nude, about the unfairness, how Naruto was morally bullied by Sakura Haruno, who was still in love with Sasuke Uchiha, who betrayed the village to walk with Orochimaru. Sakura never acknowledged the love, what Naruto had for her, while he matured, not understanding, what torment she put him through. And since Sai had limited mental capacity for not using his emotions much as a fighter of Root, he still understood, how fucked up it was. Later he married the best friend of Sakura, Ino Yamanaka, another girl, who had the hots on Sasuke, but got over it better. It was a wholesome arrangement, that the author didn't leave the florist alone, who's special skill was taking peoples bodies over and mental transmission of information. But who was a Jack of all trades and had to study medicine under Tsunade in order to refine her families technique. I'm happy that the quiet kid got a break, which was not there in his missions and work. Precisely because he's so quiet and has no shine like David Wilkerson or C.S Lewis; Charles Spurgeon; Billy Graham, people either knew nothing to expect of him, or just would be sussed out, that he's an FBI operative sent to molest the Republicans. The more he writes and does his thing, the more he suffers. But he could write the schedules of the church and keep the different workshops up to date. He would probably be good in writing bulletins and short poems, to soothe the mind. Being a fighter of Root, he has the profiling skills of a covert operative, much like Kabuto, while being more grounded. He could keep the corruption away, so the old and young foxes cant infiltrate the church. He would know, what loosing or not having a face really means, so he would be a great diplomat in soothing potential discourse and frictions in the church.
Gaara
Being the jinjuriki of the Sand village, he was raised believing, that nobody loves him. As such he grew up as this cold sociopath, who only cared for himself. Fighting Rock Lee, the student of Might Guy, the famed user of the eight inner gates, he did defeat that challenge, but not without encountering true friendship and love, he couldn't comprehend. Later he was defeated by Naruto, who gave him a new puurpose, lost his life, then the Akatsuki came for his demon, and got resurected, then the grandmother gave up her life, by bringing him back along with Narutos help. Before all that, he was the monster who cried. Every time he wasted to play with his contemporary children, those run away, due to him being the jinjuriki. It was similar to Narutos tale, which is the reason, why I didn't wanna include him here, also his bubbly brash nature would welcome him in any church. Naruto was the Light, then Gaara weas darkness. The Church would only see a selfish person, who only has ulterior motives for himself, not somebody, who has overcome them, or could overcome them at a later time. They don't want to invest in such a character, to be told: “I told you so, he has a demon inside, what did you expect!” Such people, with a dark past, like the Harlot, who got seven evil spirits cast out by Jesus, they seldom get invited in. But he would be a great Sunday School teacher or the wingman of the Youth pastor. He could talk to them about his shortcomings, and that would breach the gap between generations. People could relate to him in so many ways, it would be a wholesome thing indeed. Many people who suffer, because of the drugs; or the booze; or the women; or the something else what is condemned by society. This is the reason, why Gaara can't come to church, because Judas Iskariot; Peter; The Boanerges Brothers and Saul wont let them!!
Itachi
Itachi Uchiha, the genius Shinobi, who had it all, but ended up killing his own family and loved ones and betrayed his village, in order to be the scapegoat, who averts the fight between the Uchiha clan and Konoha village. Later he joined the Akatsuki to bodge a plot to bring back both Obito Uchiha, who was being played by Madara Uchiha, who was played by Kaguya. While people don't normally like this kind of mind games, because it seemed like red conning the agency and stakes of both Madara and Obito, it touches a key detail. You think, you're the Mantis stalking the Cicada, while being trounced by the Oreol. Or the famous church scene, there multiple assassins plan to collect their hit. That's the cost of being the mastermind. You think you're playing all games, but you might being played instead. It also highlighted Itachis genius and tragedy, in understanding all of this and sacrificing himself so his little brother would have a world to live in. All the plots and schemes, because he couldn't believe, that their family could be redeemed. He was the only resurrected corpse aside from Madara, who had a plan, how to overcome the control of the resurrection jutsu. He would be yet another intellectual, who wouldn't be trusted in the Church, because, people can't know, how to control him. What if tries to go full Prophetic Spirit and Voice and tears down the entire church you built up the last 40 years, which can happen by the way. Nobody wants such a hatchet man around, even though Jesus has a place for him still, just as he was able to convert Saul into Paul. Itachi would be a wonderful prophet to keep the church on the straight and narrow. He would know the difference, wheter to hit something with a Fireball or snipe it behind a boulder. He could discern sin very well being great help, whether he is pastor himself, or being of aid.
Those there my two cents. My ten cents are for free, but what do you say, fellow Christians! Do you want to follow Christ and raise his banners and Kingdom, or do you rather raise your voices; inflate your Egos and erect lofty mansions to dwell there, so people could see, how Christian you are!
