Treasure This

Luke 12:13-34; 10:38-42; 7:36-50 Mat 8:5-13

1.

Many with covetous glee, try to superwise your faith;

tell you how Jesus would do, and make Deus Vult!

Because they know so well, how to tell from a wraith;

what right and wrong, then barns and Nobles take stage!

For a Rich man's field yielded much, rites occult

must be amassed, so you won't hoard too much guilt.

What shall you do in your heart, where's no room, rage!

2.

Did Jesus say for the rich, or for the covetous brother;

that he be happy with his share, to consider the Ravens.

To consider King Solomon, not as pretty as flowers gather

on the field, for one moment, to be burned and wither.

Was it to guilt the rich and make them give to the craven;

or that we would keep our paths pure from Cain's leven?

Wouldn't that change the crux of most eisegesis stutter...

3.

Wasn't it Martha, in Covetous glee, against Mary:

Why dost she sit in front of Jesus, like Men do?”

Lord, Lord, won't you care that I toil alone Thee;

My Sister Mary is sitting like men, I cook here!”

And yet it was rendered unto Mary, her goal;

since she dared to reach, for what's forbidden, woe!

And the Heathens steal Heaven from Righteous, daring!!

4.

Wasn't Jesus coveted by Pharisees, although blind;

couldn't tell, when a Harlot was washing Jesus feet!

This was done, to gain a greater sign;

for she knew the holy-man would be confined!

That the Powers of this World don't relent defeat;

but the chosen only saw sin and debris.

Holding their nose, they lost a greater treasure in sight!

5.

How you judge others, holds the mirror in front of you;

ask no further, than how you treat those, who are meek.

Many doers of iniquity think themselves cool;

how they know the Bible, but never find Jesus, not a clue.

If you're strong with the weak, but to Strong you're weak;

what great prowess shall you seek, for you got your tweet!

Nobody eat the Supper in Heaven, what God shall choose!
