Painting the moon black -- in Estonian "Kuutõrvmine" an expression, if somebody states something obviously false, excusing himself with the faulty flute, as the chinease would say, blaming it on the shine of the moon, which can only be fixed, by tarring the surface of the moon, which in turn reflects the sunlight even better, forcing you to regulate and micromanage even more. Which your wild goosechase and pointless exorcize intended at first place, not fixing the named problem... 

The Tower of Babel was not ,meant to be the tallest in the psysical sense, but of spiritual sense, to be the gate of Heaven, to challenge and usurp Heavens Law and Rule. This was the reason, why language, or should I say meaning behind forming articulated thought, what got scrambled, making it hard for humans, to learn each-others speech. Whenever something challenges Heavens Supremacy, God will attack understanding itself, because Unity and Loyalty are Gods Attributes to be ceased and decisted at moments notice.
