Why I think Avatar: Korra is Awesome, and how the Lesbian ship could have improved the story, not destroy it.

Avatar: Korra is in my opinion much better than Aang. Yeah I am biased, because my element is Water, but anyway, here's my reasoning. Then Aang was a child, who ran away from his responcibilities, and had to be in an iceberg, before he was ready for his misson. Korra was a natural prodigy, who didn't lack genius, but restraint. She was so gifted, it became a detriment of her personality, connecting to my own story, of how I became a Christian. It is so much harder, to become a Christian as a prodigy, than as a simple layperson. Because a layperson doesn't need to humble himself, people like Korra always get shit from their peers, because they seem too arrogant. And what do the elders do, then somebody is too arrogant and overachieving -- they mow them down and snuff their spirit out!! For me, it was like seeing myself in the mirror, only in female. >///////< so I am sorry, if you don't like my yet another love letter about Myself -- deal with it. X^D ^^ <3 UWU 

Genii always have it hard, because theydon't get the Supermario boost, what in my opinion Aang had, being humble and doubting himself. Korra never lacked confidence, and because of that, without her own knowledge and concent got right into a family feud, over who gets to be King in their tribe. Naturally the Avatar was lured in the intrigue, and experienced head first, how hard it is to be a spiritual leader, who has to commune with two warring factions, which both are a little bit right, as is the saying among Estonians. The fiercest battles, what never cease are thought, then both sides have an argument. This is the reason, turning the other cheek as deescalation is a thing among Christians, but that comes later... 

So Korra had to negotiate peace -- because she was so badass, it worked as her detriment. The more she tried to do the right thing, the more people pushed against it, accusing her of not picking a side!! Which side is morally Good, the Southern Water Tribe, representing the Right, or the Northern Water Tribe, representing the Left? I purposely stress this out, because leftists hate left handed people, such as me, due to the fact, that the left hand is led by the right side of the brain and the right hand is led by the left side of the brain. Somehow it seems to me, that this connotations has found its path to Avatar: Korra as well. ^^

Or when Korra went to Town, just to find this agitator, who hated benders. I know I know, its totally woke, but in this context it dost violate my internal ToS!! X^D That was the very sad story of Interregnum in the dark ages, then we had Three -- I repeat Three Popes, who excomunicated each-other back to back, for not being able to respect, who gets to be King over the Christians, then Jesus Christ should have been it!! :(( >//////< :$ 

It gave me such a release, to enjoy the dialogue between Amons aka Noatak the bloodbenders thus Korra fighting with her dark side. -- agitator, who was like the reincarnation of the Woke students, advocating for more diversity, while being at the same time their worsed enemies. Because they are creating and upholding the very problem, their sworn to tackle and remove from the equasion. Then you go too far with zealotry, or being right, you undermine yourself, or like with sunbathing, you become albino, which is the last stage of sunbathing. The last stage of Wokeness, unironically is Adolph Hitler, because Benito Mussolini, who coined the term, "Facsism" was a former Communist, not a Capitalist, as many leftists willfully wish. Then you try too hard, to end the institutionalised oppression, the only way you can be really sure, is to create a bigger and meaner central government, as the one you are fighting. But now, your homies are filling the bully places and doing the pushing and hustling. :(( :$ It was enjoyable to see Avatar: Korra Burn out and break down, while being with her lady friend, although, that is not enough, for her lesbian stanse. Because it makes it cheap, that even simple friendships should be immediately have an LGBT flag hoisted on. It would be as good, if I would tell people, that if somebody offered somebody else loving-kindness, it would mean, that this person should become Christian, or else his such good deed is void. 

Forcing your moral prejudice down readers and watchers throat, is what alienates people from the LGBT thing, because in this context it is like converting to a faith. And I know all about converting, being a former theology student; studying it quite exctensively! X^D :P ^^ You want to always tease your moral values in, like ensalting something, not make them guzzle it down and become thirsty, and the only cup of water is given, then you drop the punchline. Then that person will never come back to see your thing... :(( :o 

Then you are too enlightened, your vision makes you blind, because all the presuppositions about: 1. The benders are out to gotcha. 2. We can do it ourselves! (Emancipation) 3. We have our own culture, and don't need this old stuff!! (Stunning and Brave) etc. Eventually it leaves no positive options, there the benders could respect the non-benders. I could see, that the Woke see themselves as the benders, but ok. There is no point about arguing on the growling dog inside. The mirror is empty!! <3 

After Avatar: Korra could resolve the Issue with Amon, while loosing all her prowess and only being left with Airbending, the ability she hated the most, for not being able to understand restraint. Although I am a Christian, and I should see myself in Hufflepuff, (Harry Potter)  which h the exact reflection of the Monastic Traditions in Christendom, but also Budhism; Hinduism; Shintoism etc. Franciscus Assisi, is a true Hufflepuffian, but alas I am more like Tom Marvolo Riddle and Slytherin, still not being able to forgive my stupid father his moral and physical weakness, in succumbing to the combined Egoes of My Mother and her Parents. A Scorpio/Water Monkey; An Aries/Earth-Tiger and a Scorpio/ Water Tiger there just too much for him. That is the reason, why Woke people or my little brother, being mentally handicapped drive me to blow my stack. I respect raw power!! Only Raw Pewer and Genius! I can only respect somebody, like Avatar: Korra or Tanya Degurechaff, who is gifter and/or fully blown sociopath -- Narcissist around me, without being afraid, that my poisonous aura tears him appart, like happened to my father. :(( 

If you're not strong enough, I will just suck you dry like an energy-vampire, due to the passage in the bible: Mat 13:12 which is the root loosing nutrients to the richer soil -- the nutrients always move, where there is more. Which is the reason, you should not overstack on the fertiliser, because just as washing your hands too much dries them out. Having too much food in the soil, makes you go hungry. Its not by accident, there is a saying about the donkey between two haystacks!! :$ If you have too much of the good thing, it can make you loose ability to receive that good thing. After all this, Korra finally took a breather, and meditated, why she should be even the Avatar!! I don't like to flatter and cheer well made things too much, because in Estonia it is believed, then you bless something too much, it means, you're jinxing it, and older people will attack you, if you do that, stating: "Stop Chanting!" or "Don't Jinx it!" Because you're not supposed to speak up aboiut things, what are perfect and divine. You can only talk about profane stuff, using nicknames lest to give the wrong entiry priority in your life... 

This self reflection is so rare in anime, and is the reason, I am on Team Korra! <3 UWU Because she genuinely thought of giving up and those there'nt petty reasonings. She experienced utter moral; mental and physical failure, just by doing the right thing!! Let that sink in. not many people can come out of this. So many Christians have stopped following Christ, the moment shit starts hitting the fan, or the speech gets little hard to bite John 6:60-66. But Avatar: Korra is the story about a genii, who failed, but stood up to never relent.

I also like the Probending, due to having studied white belt worth Wado Ryu Karate,.I needed it, for discipline sake, which I still somewhat lack. (Money ran out! :(() Besides, how do you even teach Songoku restraint and respect for discipline? In there I heard, how the teacher explained, how hard was to explain to the oldschooler Master, what the martial arts tournaments are in the west. And the Old Teacher, got really angry with his pupil, my teacher, stating: "What the Hell is this? First it is a hit, but then again, it is not a hit! I only need one hit for you, and you're dead!!" and the conversation was settled. I really appreciate leaving that rigid dichotomy in between pure understanding of bending and trying to watch it for entertainment sake and just sparring it. I guess its too zen and don't offer much to the westerner, but it was something for me. ^^ 

It reinvigorated my love for Zen and Chinese or Japanese tradition also the Budhist teachings, while being a Christian. That reminds me of Korra's lovelife. It is really hard to settle down as a genius, because you feel the peerpressure, and long for the approval of the society and your parents, wanting to find the most perfect match, not just anybody. How do you bring Joe Average to your Parents, being as Gifted and savy as Korra? For that reason, I don't hold it against her, that she first fell in love with Bolin and their hilarious conversation of not assuming Korras Element. X^D 

Why can't the LGBT deliver their stuff like that? It would make more sense, then hitting the people on the head with the rainbow flag, like some Christians hit you with their Bible. People will just get mad, and take their own rulebook and Moses Shatters the ToS of Heaven on your head. Why can't it be friendly and competitive, like in Avatar: Korra?! OwO  What Gives! UWU  

The Mako fling, was mostly to get over failing to match with Bolin, due to inability to subordinate nor suffer a weak disciplined man. Women like to pretend, they like submissives, but they somehow never end up marrying them. I wonder why... :o

The Grandmother, Mako and Bolin later found, only stressed out, how culture viewed their ships. How culture and tradition was there, only to condemn not to nurture and appreciate... Its again a woke theme and a Religious theme while being well executed. ^^ It is very hard to depict tradition as something benevolent and good, without succumbing to propaganda; dogmatism and inventing the Dai Li -- The Asami Satto Ship will come later.

Or the Way, Korra had to overcome Zaheer, the Terrorist who unlocked flight and almost killed the Avatar, because he wanted a world without meddling Gods. I recently stumbled upon the debate of Jordan Peterson with Ben Shapiro https://youtu.be/k-RagAyRG8w also a YouTuber  recommended to add Frank Turek to the conversation, on which I strongly approve! <3 The Life of C. S. Lewis is rewarding to use as contrast, in order to understand the fight between Korra and Zaheer. Its the ancient question of Corrupting power, which was symbiolized by the metal inside Korras veins. In Chinese lore and I think in Japan too, the metal color and white are correspondent to White, much like black is in the West, the bringer of sickness and bad luck. One of the Reasons, I call myself Whiteraven... I mostly bring bad luck to my lovedones and rarely can rejoyce in my gifts... :(( TwT 

Or the Fact she had to overcome her former ally turned Despot or fight the spiritworld itself, is a very deep dive to spirituality and Religion itself. That is the very reason, it is so hard to become a Shaman, and why there are so many imposters. People crave that, and it sells! I don't think the facing rhe death ray made her a Mary-Sue, while I understand, why people would perceive her like that. The question was more intricate and deadly. "Would you take a hit for Adolph Hitler!" If your ToS commends you to let the Arch Enemy go, would you follow through? The most woke have said "No!" with their lives, opting for instance against Jordan Peterson or Donald Trump. But if you cannot take a hit, for your enemy, then it is the right thing to do -- what good are your moral values, if they can only save your own kind!! That's why I was genuinely moved to tears, then I saw Kuvira break down, then she was able to defeat the Avatar once, and let her go, thus utterly humiliating her as Spiritual leader. And Korra having her sorry ass kicked. I was even fascinated it got passed the censorship. X^D 

So This Is my take on Korra, lets talk about how to fix the lesbian ship with Asami Sato: 

The Scene in front of the Parents should have concluded not with an apology, but an affirmation, that Korra don't care about tradition -- well she is insubordinate, and undisciplined, it would go with the lore -- that she would love Kuvira despite the odds, even if she had to resign her office as Avatar. Then there would be a reverse redemption arc, there people need to level with her head, about taking responcibility while people gradually come to terms with the Ship, not just getting it dealt up yours. That apology was reprehensive and violated all the character building Korra did, facing the other obstacles. So you'd assume, this obstacle would be dealt with the same reverence, not just be muscled in. Why not make them foster a lost soul in the spirit world as their own child? I didn't bother to read after the apology, so I don't know much, what happened in the lore, unless some Youtuber has talked about that. Then you could gallivant in the Spiritworld. Such a slight change of attitude makes all the difference. I hope there will be an Earthbender story, so these plotholes could be walked back. Some Twins one female and weak healthed but gifted not chosen by the spirit and the other dull and wanting to be a businessman in Cabage.Inc boy, thus earning peoples resentment, for not respecting the choosing of the Spirit. It would allow to speak up, what does tradition mean in contemporary world. 

It wouldn't be too bad, if there is no encore, as long there is no debauchery. Because we do need Great strories, not same old. It could also entail, that the number of benders has dwindled, while the people desperately need the Avatar to bring the spiririts back, who still loathe Korras choise in choosing Love over Duty. That would bind the stories together and would give something to noggin-joggin. What say thou! OwO
