Howls moving castle -- the steampunk Cinderella story.

After watching Howl with lord Jesus Christ on Sabbath day. I'm still happy, I took the invitation on. What a lovely date! ^^ The morning was nice, doing some physical labour at the cottage and going to the sauna. For those people amongst Jews and Christians, who now startle: "What about no work on Sabbath day!" Shut your byhole, and stop your refridgerator from running, what about the heartpace maker btw. If no work on Sabbath day, why don't you stop these! Or what about radars and military systems and irrigations, you lazy oath of an hipocrat... You are allowed to work on Sabbath day, if you are like Doeg from Edom, who had to watch after the Arc of the Covenant against his will, because of Kings orders. That is the time, then commoners can disregard the Sabbath day! If they are following a greater law, namely the law of the Heart and Mercy. Mercy must always triumph over Law, or hath you dimwits not learned that!

In any case, this was supposed to be a commentary on Howl, but I got carried away. God, I really love this setting, MEGASPOILERS AHEAD, WATCH SHOW BEFORE YOU READ THIS! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!! It started with this cute tsundere waifu, with her "I'm not cute nor pretty" perogative. Insert John Wick staring down the false priest "Uhuh!" X^D But you have to admit, this trope never gets old. Especially in these days, its refreshing to find a girl, who could look a 22/10 and think she's a 4/10 normally its the other way around, plus they think to be Sigma Hayoken Cristal children, with a pinch of Kitsune Himegawa from the Hakuba district. Its a numerology SJW panther, don't ask, its nasty... Its so hard these days, to find a humble lass, who doesn't capitalise on her obvious charms, or the lack there of. I also love the belief, that Wizards and Witches steal your heart, to get stronger. This substitution magic trope, there you have to sacrifice something of great value to you, in order to get magic, is common in Japanese anime and manga. I think of Munto and Ushio&Tora also Koschei the Immortal in the West, who hid his heart away, to never die.

Anyway, the damsel, is quite happy with her life, taking up shop from deceased dad in an cheap tacky hat shop. Respect for anybody, who volunteers to take this burden on. Its a Mayor big deal. Google is an asshole today, and wont let me find any expressions, but contracts for volunteers. Bad Google! Ah I finally found it! https://www.freedict.com/onldict/jap.html "Inseki" whitch means taking responcibility and also a meteorite. Its fascinating how many cues it gives on Howl, then meteorites are falling. ;)) I knew there was a wordplay hidden. UWU I could sense it. Also the Schoppenhauer philosophy about never reading books, unless they are good. I don't know, if the authors read it, but I recognize the similarity with Howl. We need more people, who don't climb the social ladder, but are happy and content, there they are born. Its so rare these days. I can only find this notion in Anime/Manga and Hentai  >///////////<

So the fair maiden is happy with her life and has to go somewhere, and is molested by two soldiers. -- and is saved by a Wizard, who is chased down by some monster henchmen. The town looks like its St. Petersburg or something. The uniforms hint on that strongly... I think...  They make a run and get away to leave the maiden perplexed, of what just happened. Is this a dream, no? Insert Merovingian from Matrix reloaded giving cake to a pretty lady which gives a new meaning to roofies. I aint gonna accept gifts from anybody in a restaurant or bar X^D In a way, the main protagonist -- yes the girl is the main protagonist, not the awesome Wizard. She's warned, to not deal with Wizards and Witches, lest have her heart stolen. How many times I have heard this warning. "Don't pursue your goals, or a corp. or aliens or the lion on the market etc. will steal you away!" Shut the Fuck Up -- who died and made you Shaman King over Whiteraven? (watch the show!) She gets startled by a jealous Witch, who once tried to steal the heart of the Awesome Wizard, but we'll learn that later in the movie. Obviously she steals the youth of the main character, which is a howler. It would definitely kill a woman these days, but not the main protagonist!! Despite loosing all her beauty and youth, she still moves on, to face the Witch, who did this to her. I admire such courage and determination... "eiki" I believe in Japanese, (Ardour; excellent talent; courage; high spirits)  very close to "heiki" (coolness calmness; composure; unconcern) This spartan stoic attitude of not fussing about spilt milk. People these days, don't get this at all. They don't understand, why a Great Wizard would crave freedom above else, instead of joining the armies of his Kingdom to fight yet another kingdom. It was hilarious, how the other Kingdoms Prince was turned into a scarecrow, with the curse, of only getting free, if a true loves kiss besieges him. (I was only disappointed, there was no backstory about it, but then it had been even longer and you know youths these days tl;dr) :$ :(( It reminded me of the French Fairy tale about a boy, who could turn invisible, with the help of a magical chicken, who he had to keep in his backpack and watch, that it don't eat any snails (because that would kill the magic, for snails are blind) Also french love to eat those... Too bad, I can't remember its name, for I read its translation, then I was young. I had a lot of books to read in my childhood, considering, my grandfather was a renowned architect in the town and grandmother worked in the Tartu Univercity Library, deciphering old manuscripts and typing them in, for preservation. It was a happy childhood, for a male version of Hermione Granger. I could swallow books, like they there made of sage incense, and I had but to breathe them in. Now I can only read 3 chapters at best :(( and 3 verses of the Bible TwT I feel so sad...and its not even per day, but sometimes per month. In this fairy-tale the boy got too greedy and after securing the heart of the princess, he had to go fight for the gold, which was stolen by the blacksmith, I believe, who was the previous owner of the magical chicken. That blacksmith had the awesome idea, to stel from a demonic lootcave, defended by a sphynx and had as punishment to drop all he had stolen from the King. The wedding dowry made for the princess, for her future marriage. And the fool of a boy went after it. But here's the catch 22 what related to Howl. You could only break the curse, if you kissed the Spinx who was a cursed young maiden. Not by any kiss -- but a true loves kiss. The boy could kiss all the transformations be it hideous monster or serpent, just not the original form of the girl, because he already got a waifu -- and lost his visible self as a punishment!! In this variation of that Fairy tale, the prince had to get over it too, that the main protagonist, fell in love with the Raven-Wizard. I so love the Japanese and their mythology. Its so Estonian ^^ UWU Its like the joke about two frogs from Kyoto and Tokyo. I also believe, that Japan and Estonia are like mirror images of each-other. I like this steampunk anti-war attitude, of the movie, to fight both armies, who molest the towns, just the same way, as the two soldiers in the beginning. It does great, to see, then hard work and determination is coined, instead of ambition and success. The mother of the protagonist, was also used in a candid way, highlighting the lie of the Wizard, how the protagonis is his mother. X^D To see the Witch of the Wastes not be able to move without her magics a simple staircase, was sad but also foreboding. The problem with intellectuals -- this is the part, there I suspect, the authors read Shoppenhauer -- is that they get too possessed by their craft, that they become white dwarfs. The Zeitgeist and heavy overthinking contemptuous thought-patterns smother their inner child so much, that those poor Cretins, aren't even capable of thinking about themselves, but their full cup of education and scholarship... In that sense, the scene with the Inner Child of the Awesome Wizard, to find his heart, had more than one meaning. To hid your heart from this world so much so, your true love even has a hard time finding it. The dialogue between the fire-demon (Wizards heart) and the Protagonist. Jiiiiiiiiiii (psyched squirrel noises) Subarashii, omedetou!! I don't know how to say Godspeed in Japanese, its both divine providense and prayer/blessing/curse at the same consecutive time, depending on the time used. You can only Godspeed, then something is finished and is polite, without jinxing it... ah well... How to say, that you're really happy about the last sip of the cup, because it was a great coffee/tea. That's how I feel about Howl!! Hitocuchiakinai...

Anyway, If you see the cold reality of this harsh world don't seal your heart that far off. You might not find a fair maiden, to save you from yourself. This reminds me of Evanecsence "Wake me up"  https://youtu.be/wXcdYBh3hgg Just wake up for your opportunity and take the best of your life. I don't believe, you don't got any. Just look at the protagonist, surviving a vile curse, which got broken, then she found the heart of the Awesome Wizard and making him pull his shit together with the Witch of the Wastes, who lost all her powers. That's another thing, then you're too much possessed with your awesomeness, that the King has to placate you and take it away. Once all the curses are broken, the war is over. Because a fair maiden remained herself and didn't wanna succumb to this world,. climbing up the ladder! I believe, we need such a fairy-tale and people with an inner child, who can live in accordance to it... May you have a great evening and a greater future up ahead. Fulfill your goal and purpose in this World! Halleluyah!
